My work in children’s television includes art directing the globally successful and award winning animated series PicMe. 
I was hired by Jam Media to create and develop a world which would appeal to pre-schoolers...a colorful environment that would compliment a cast of animated characters both in tone and design.
As well as art directing the project, I also created all the background art and prop design for 104 episodes...a hiatus from animation ensued allowing me to re-adjust to reality :O
Upon release, the show was a huge success and was picked up on both sides of the Atlantic through broadcasters such as RTE, BBC, Nick Jr. Worldwide and PBS Sprout in the US.
It went on to win many awards and was fundamental to the company collecting the Grand Prix at the Digital Media Awards the year it was released.
