? the Panda
A forgotten friend
Unfortunately, not every project sees the light of day.
Take for instance '? the Panda'. He almost had his own story...in fact he almost had a name, but alas, for one reason or another (which I'll spare you the details) he is now left homeless and nameless.
I liked him though, he was fun to draw and hopefully (as it sometimes happens) he will get his opportunity to shine somewhere down the line in another project.

The story of a little girl meeting a wolf while she brings her grandmother food is one of the most frequently adapted fairy tales of all time. In Germany, the girl is known as “Rotkäppchen”.
I exhibited this piece at the opening of the Copper house gallery, Dublin, where the owners Leszek and Maureen Wolnik presented a beautiful A2 print to the Minister of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Mr. Jimmy Deenihan TD. 2011 Illustration, Creative Direction
