• Peter Donnelly is an Irish based illustrator working in Advertising and Picture Books.
    His illustrations have been featured on DRAWN, Illustration Age, Le Cool and The Little Chimp Society as well as being awarded by American Illustration, The Creative Quarterly Journal and the international 3x3 Children's Book and Illustration Showcases. 

    In children’s publishing, he has illustrated over twenty books for clients including An Gúm, Foras na nGaeilge, The Oxford University Press, An Leabhar Breac, Mentor Books and The Educational Company of Ireland.

    Peter has headed Art Departments for leading animation film companies both in Europe and the United States such as 20th Century Fox, DreamWorks SKG, Don Bluth Studios and Hahn film, Berlin. As a feature artist he has been credited on over fifteen box office films in a variety of artistic roles.
    His work in television includes art directing the globally successful and award winning animated series PicMe for Jam Media Ltd and he is regularly hired as a development artist on short form and TV productions.
    His collaborations in animation have won many awards including IFTA's, Digital Media Awards and a Golden Unicorn.
     
    Peter has guest lectured on student courses, invited to speak at the Behance Portfolio Review and is current Promotions Officer for Illustrators Ireland
    He has also curated large scale exhibitions including 'The Illustrated Beatles' and 'The Art of Superstition'.
